DENTAL TEAM

Ali Hooshangui

Ali was born and raised in Iran, graduating from Alborz, one of the most prestigious high schools in the Middle East. He went on to complete BSc and MSc degrees in Microbiology from Azad University in Tehran. Subsequent to immigration to Toronto, Ali completed his dental degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Upon graduation, representing U of S, Ali presented his award winning research paper at the Canadian Dental Association Convention with great success. Married to Lily Sammak (also a U of S dentistry grad), and now the proud father of little boy, Suren. Ali is very happy to call Saskatchewan and Saskatoon his chosen "home".

Ali has completed periodontics externships at University of Toronto and Columbia University in New York and joins the practice with experience in private practice in the province. During this time, he has built a reputation as a gentle, meticulous and conscientious dentist. Since graduation, Ali has also been an active faculty member with the College of Dentistry, department of Endodontics.

In his spare time, Ali palys the guitar and is an avid follower of the latest news and developments in international affairs, automotives and electronincs. 

Carman Rabuka

 Carman was born and raised in Sasatoon, graduating from ED.Feehan High School with a bilingual certificate. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy), and subsequently completed his dental degree  with distinction at the University of Saskatchewan. Carman recently completed a one-year residency at the Vancouver General Hospital, practicing dentistry in a hospital setting and abroad, including Vietnamese and Cambodian orphanages, cancer hospitals and trauma centers.

In his spare time, Carman is an accomplished cellist in the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, and has completed his Associates of the Royal Conservatory in cello performance in 1999. A veteran of numerous music festival competitions, he also enjoys outdoor activities and camping with his wife Esther.
